Dr. Jamie Lee, DPT, DNP is a residency-trained, board-certified orthopedic physical therapist (OCS), and he is a double board-certified family practice (FNP) and psychiatric (PMHNP) nurse practitioner. He holds distinction as one of the only clinicians in the country to hold a doctorate in both professions. Being a part of both disciplines has given him a unique vantage point for patient care. His experience in primary care, psychiatric mental health, emergency medicine, and orthopedics allows him to treat patients across the continuum. Whether its stabilizing a critically ill patient, rehabilitating someone with low back pain, managing chronic conditions like diabetes or hypertension, or helping someone with depression, he utilizes a biopsychosocial approach to provide holistic care.
Dr. Lee currently holds a few clinical positions in psychiatric mental health and primary care/urgent care. He is the CEO of Equanimity Health, where he provides telehealth psychiatric mental health services. He also works at Glaser & Randhawa Mental Health Group part-time, where he practices with a multidisciplinary team to provide psychiatric services. When he is not providing psychiatric care, he provides a range of medical services for preventative care, acute conditions, and chronic medical illnesses at a local urgent care. When he isn’t working, he loves spending time with his amazing wife and two wonderful children (soon to be three!)…who keep him very busy!
This website primarily serves as a central hub for all of his social media accounts. It also acts as a blog, where he discusses topics related to (1) musings on the physical therapy and nursing profession; and (2) sharing lessons he has learned during his clinical-academic journey. If you are a clinician, researcher, or academician looking to connect or collaborate on potential projects, feel free to reach him on any social media platform!
